Indie Ridge is an outdoor apparel company based in Los Angeles, California.

This company was founded on the concept of being a design agency for the modern era. After launching several successful products in our specific niche, my co-founder and I discovered that our unique sales, engineering, and marketing abilities were applicable for almost any product on the market. So we set out as a company to help others launch their products with confidence using expertise verified not just by an impressive portfolio, but by cold hard stats from our own products. We don’t implement anything that we haven’t tested and verified to work internally. We allow others to capitalize on the mistakes and learnings we’ve already made so that they don’t have to.

20 published apps. 500,000+ downloads. Profitable from day one. Zauce Technologies started as a winter break side project and eventually grew into a thriving app development and consulting business while completing college studies. The company wound down in 2016, though still has several apps published on their respective stores.

Trace - The Action Sports Tracker

Technical Product Management (Software / Hardware)

Trace is the action sports tracker. As a small team wearing many hats, my responsibilities cover the range of product development from hardware CAD design and software dev, all the way up to writing marketing copy for A/B tests on our website. The majority of efforts have been split between growing and optimizing the eCommerce side of the business, and the mobile development of our two apps Trace Snow and Trace Surf on iOS and Android.

Polygonz is a tool that creates beautiful and customizable polygon-styled backgrounds for your devices or webpages, algorithmically, built with Dart. It was inspired by a design trend which I will describe as geometric or polygon design. I thought the style looked really neat and wanted to do something in this area.

Elmnts is a minimalistic chrome app that plays ambient sounds for working and studying - Featured by Lifehacker.

Elmnts is a free chrome app build specifically for offline use. Featured by lifehacker, this app went on to garner 50k+ downloads before being aquired by noisli.com.

Side Projects

Hacker at heart.

Enthusiastic follower of the Maker Movement, always on the lookout interesting new projects. Below are the main areas I tend to tinker with in my free time:

3D PRINTING – Hand-built a 3D printer to design and print custom 3D parts (see printed quadcopter above.)
ROBOTICS – The Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms fascinate me, and have proven extremely useful in numerous hobby projects for the ‘real world’ component.
HOME AUTOMATION - Recently taken up a large interest in home automation using the Hass.io platform, among others.
